For the 32nd year, the Belfast City Marathon will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, 6 May A new advertising campaign from Oxfam is stirring up debate. Oxfam’s adverts, which have appeared in newspapers, on billboards and in the digital media, show stunning landscapes of Africa, such as the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and a beautiful cascading waterfall.

Champion Boxer, Barry McGuigan who is manager of Carl Frampton, and a CLIC Sargent Patron said:

“To add to the fantastic support CLIC Sargent already provides to children, young people and their families, they are currently focussing on their Homes from Home Appeal. The appeal aims to build free self catering accommodation close to the two main Belfst Hospitals for families when their child is undergoing treatment for cancer.
