Description: The Children’s Liver Disease Foundation is an NGO that holds various charity fundraising events to help support the fight against liver diseases that affect children. The Neon Run is a 5km race that takes place at night. It comprises of various fun activities such as jogging, running and walking with 4 distinct on-course zones of music, technical production, amazing lighting as well as a great concert to end the event. It took place on 18th October in Leeds and 25th October in Sunderland.

Description: VEPK (the Village Education Project in Kilimanjaro) is an educational charity event with various programs within the region of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and their UK office is based in Sevenoaks, Kent. The NGO works to enhance education in both pre-school and primary schools by offering materials and books, in-service training in addition to working together with all levels of government officials. It runs a computer center that provides access to the internet, a village craft shop and a school for vocational training.
The annual charity fundraising event recruits climbers for the event that runs from 22nd October to 2nd November.

Description: The Big Knit is an annual charity campaign that is run by Innocent Drinks and Age UK with an aim of supporting the older yet vulnerable people in society. Participants are expected to knit small hats which are placed on the Innocent Drink bottles and for every drink sold, Age UK receives 25 pounds. The charity event runs from the 10th of October to 14th November. The foundation aims to make about 800k hats to be used for the Spread the Warmth campaign to take place next year in February; the event supports older people during winter. Knit today and help keep the aged warm next winter.

Description: Trek for Charity is an event for charity that involves the exploration of the Great Wall of China. Participants get to see parts of one of the seven wonders of the world that are rarely visited. Participants also get to visit the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The event began on 17th October and ended on 26th October.
